RALEIGH, N.C.– Coastal Credit Union Vice President of Real Estate Operations Louis Guillama has been appointed to serve on the National Association of REALTORS Federal Technology Policy Committee. The appointment is for a one-year term, and begins on December 1, 2020.
The 30-member committee evaluates current issues and policy changes around technology and telecommunication in order to provide education opportunities to NAR’s members, and makes recommendations to NAR on positions and strategies on policy issues that affect the real estate community.
“I’m thrilled at the opportunity to serve, and to help provide guidance to my 1.4 million industry peers,” said Guillama. “The technology and telecom landscape are constantly evolving, and legislative and regulatory changes always have the potential to affect how REALTORS® use these tools to conduct business.”
Guillama has 19 years of real estate experience, and has led Coastal’s Daymark Realty division since its creation in 2007.
