THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. —CoastHills Credit Union’s Thousand Oaks branch — its first in Ventura County — has brought its “branch of the future” to the Conejo Valley.
The new branch is the first to utilize a state-of-the-art virtual banking experience, which services members through a digital face-to-face experience with a live member services officer.
The branch in Thousand Oaks also has a tech bar designed for member education and mobile device tutorials for utilizing the credit union’s digital suite of products.
“What members are seeing in Thousand Oaks is what we envision as our branch of the future,” CoastHills President/CEO Jeff York said. “We’re excited to be able to roll out this new technology in a community as progressive and tech savvy as the Conejo Valley.”
Business development in the new location will be helmed by Branch Manager Ari Hovnanyan, who has more than two decades of financial services experience in Southern California, including the past 12 years in Thousand Oaks. Originally from Woodland Hills, Hovnanyan was the previous branch manager at Premier America Credit Union, and prior to that served as the retail market manager for Rabobank.
“The banking industry is changing so rapidly,” Hovnanyan said. “We want to make sure we provide members the options they need to manage their finances on their own terms.
