Climb Credit Union Receives Champion For Kids Award

ARVADA, Colo. – Climb Credit Union has received the Champion for Kids award from Kenzi’s Causes, a Colorado nonprofit dedicated to supporting underprivileged children and families through community-driven initiatives.

The award was presented during the organization’s annual gala on April 5, where Climb also made a $500 donation to support Kenzi’s Causes’ ongoing programs. Aurora Branch Manager Selena Aarness accepted the award on behalf of Climb and was individually recognized for her exceptional dedication and volunteerism.

Climb has been a longtime advocate and annual sponsor of Kenzi’s Causes, supporting signature events such as the Easter Egg Hunt, Trunk or Treat, Packs for Kids, and Food and Toy Drives. Team members also volunteer throughout the year to wrap birthday and holiday gifts for the children served by the organization.

“This partnership reflects our deep commitment to the communities where our members live, work, and thrive,” said Carrie Langgard, President/CEO of Climb Credit Union. “We believe in financial empowerment for every stage of life—and for us, that starts with giving back. It’s been incredibly meaningful to see the relationships formed through Kenzi’s programs and to be part of an organization that brings so much hope and joy to children and families.”
