PITTSBURGH, Penn.–Clearview Federal Credit Union participated in the Beaver County March of Dimes Walk for Babies to raise funds to support research, advocacy and programs to improve and ensure the health of all mothers and babies.
The team, dubbed Clearview FCU, was captained by Janine Bottoroff, a Clearview’ Care Center Manager. This was her first year as team captain for the Walk for Babies.
Clearview’s team of 12 employees walked the three-mile course, held on the Beaver County Community College campus. Clearview staff from departments and local branches participated, including Consumer Lending, the Care Center, Information Technology, Community Affairs, Accounting, Digital Experience and the Chippewa and Center area financial centers.
The team walkers raised $456 and the Clearview financial centers raised an additional $500 for a total contribution of $956.
Separately, Clearview FCU has named the Yellow Ribbon Girls as their charity of choice for the second quarter of 2019. Throughout April, May and June, Clearview Federal Credit Union is raising donations for the Yellow Ribbon Girls through their Quarterly Giving Program.
The Yellow Ribbon Girls organization provides care packages to deployed military men and women, filled with supplies and treats.
Clearview is currently collecting donations from employees and the community. Steady progress is being made toward the campaign goal of filling fifty 8.5” x 11” boxes full of supplies and treats for distribution to deployed military.
Clearview will also be holding an employee gift basket raffle in early June with proceeds earmarked for postage of items.
