ST. PAUL, Minn.–The Leadership Team and Board of Directors of City & County Credit Union are pleased to announce James (Jim) Snyder has been honored as a Credit Union Builder through the Minnesota Credit Union Foundation (MnCUF). Jim was surprised with the award at the credit union’s recent Annual Meeting.
“Jim is a tireless supporter of City & County Credit Union,” said City & County Credit Union President & CEO Patrick Pierce. “We thank him for his many years of service to our members.”
Jim Snyder served as Chairman of City & County Credit Union from 1997 until 2016. In 2010 Snyder received the Minnesota Credit Union Network Volunteer of the Year award, which is given each year to recognize the service of an outstanding credit union volunteer who best exemplifies the credit union spirit through dedication to the credit union movement.
Snyder joins 42 other individuals who have been honored since 2008 with MnCUF’s Credit Union Builder Award. The names of the recipients and the contributing credit unions are permanently displayed in the Minnesota Credit Union Network’s lobby as a tribute to their accomplishments. The honorees receive a plaque from the Minnesota Credit Union Foundation, and donors are also listed online and in the MnCUF’s annual report.
