VIRGINIA BEACH, Va.–- The We Promise Foundation, the charitable arm of Chartway Federal Credit Union, recently provided a charitable grant in the amount of $200,000 to Virginia Beach-based charity Toby’s Dream Foundation.
Since November of 2009, these two charities have worked as partners to fulfill dreams of a lifetime for children with life-threatening illnesses who are treated at Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters and Portsmouth Naval Medical Center, the credit union said. Since Toby’s Dream Foundation was created, the We Promise Foundation has contributed more than $1.5-million ensure that local children have the opportunity and resources to imagine and experience their most fantastic dream.
