With each request for funding, Centris said it determines where their charitable dollars will be placed based on an organizations’ focus on financial education, health and human services and/or community betterment.
“Throughout the years, Centris has sponsored or donated to various causes within the communities we serve,” said Dawn Gonzales, vice president, community relations for Centris. “Launching a formal grant program gave us the opportunity to see the great diversity in the grant requests,” said Gonzales.
Through the grant program, Centris said it aimed to empower the recipients and help them achieve lasting impacts.
“We were introduced to many nonprofits that are making ripple effects in our communities and we are excited to be able to assist in their efforts,” said Gonzales.
