SAGINAW, Mich.–Catholic Federal Credit Union donated more than 3,400 bottles of water to assist Northridge Academy students affected by the Flint water crisis.
A separate $300 monetary donation was given to Catholic Charities of Flint to help purchase water that is being distributed to Flint residents daily.
Catholic Federal’s Communications Committee, comprised of staff members who volunteer to coordinate fundraising efforts among the credit union’s employees, used funds collected from a special jean day to purchase two pallets of bottled water. Catholic Federal Credit Union supplemented the water donation by contributing $300 to be given to Catholic Charities of Flint.
