SAGINAW, Mich. – Catholic Federal Credit Union celebrated National Catholic Schools Week by surprising All Saints, Bay City & Nouvel Catholic Central Elementary, Saginaw faculty and students with educational and exciting events for the annual celebration of Catholic education in the United States. The Catholic Federal team that visits the CFCU school branch locations kicked off the week by showcasing a “What I Love about my Teacher” display, where students had the opportunity to show their appreciation to their educator by writing a special note on the board that was displayed in the school. Students that participated received a credit union prize after spinning a prize wheel. All students also received a fun filled treat bag from Catholic Federal. Faculty and staff received a complimentary breakfast from CFCU.
Catholic Schools typically observe the National celebration week with masses, open houses and other activities for students, families, parishioners and community members. Through these events, schools focus on the value Catholic education provides to young people and its contributions to our church, our communities and our nation. CFCU is proud to partake in such an important celebration. The theme for the National Catholic Schools Week 2016 was “Catholic Schools: Communities of Faith, Knowledge and Service.”
