GREEN BAY, Wis. — Capital Credit Union has donated a retired courier van to Rawhide Youth Services, a non-profit that is dedicated to transforming and inspiring young lives.
According to the credit union, Rawhide Youth Services operates unique programs that provide youth with opportunities to learn different skill sets. By taking in donated vehicles, the organization is able to offer hands-on training opportunities that educate and empower young adults to work towards a positive future, Capital CU said.
“Instead of going to auction or finding another way to dispose of it, we wanted to find a way to put the vehicle to good use,” CCU AVP-Marketing Lydia Lynch said in a statement. “By donating the van to Rawhide, we know that we are providing a resource needed to help improve the life of a child or young adult in need.”
