LONE TREE, Colo. – Canvas Credit Union said it has rewarded more than 40 winning members after partnering with Mastercard on a five-month “Go Live. Go Win" promotion aimed at encouraging members to use Canvas’ cards for their everyday purchases.
The prizes available in the promotion ranged from tattoos to cleaning service for a year and even a trip around the world (all prizes were adjoined with the monetary value as an option), Canvas reported. The more frequently a Canvas debit card was swiped by a member, the bigger the prize. Throughout the five-month span, Canvas rewarded 42 members with exciting prizes, including extra cash on hand to help them get through these uncertain times.
“One member, Brenna, won $6,400 and said it would help her take the dream vacation she always wanted. Another member, Brett, won $6,400 that helped him pay for a new wheelchair for his son,” Canvas CU said.
As the last month of the promotion overlapped with the start of the pandemic, Canvas said it was grateful to help members afford life during this uncertain time.
