HOUSTON--Daniel Caldwell has been named as Plus4 Credit Union’s new chief financial officer.
Previously the chief financial officer at Platinum Federal Credit Union in Duluth, Ga., Caldwell oversaw the credit union’s finance, banking relationships, and administrative functions. In this role, he executed a strategic plan to maintain net worth close to 9 percent while rapidly increasing assets, the CU said.
Prior to working at Platinum, Caldwell was the president/CEO at 1st Choice Credit Union in Atlanta, where he planned, directed, and controlled all functions of the credit union. He also performed analysis of the credit union’s expenses and made budget cuts that increased profitability and saved the credit union over $100,000.
With more than 17 years of progressive financial management experience and over 10 of those years within the credit union movement, Caldwell will drive Plus4’s mission to help improve its members lives through exceptional service. Caldwell is recognized in the industry for operational and financial efficiency and sound financial guidance in complex settings demanding key business intelligence, the CU said.
