SAN DIEGO—Cal Coast Credit Union has promoted Antonia Luna to chief operating officer, elevating a longtime executive who has held a series of leadership roles during her nearly decade-long tenure with the organization.
Luna, who joined Cal Coast in 2017, most recently served as executive vice president of member delivery, where she oversaw initiatives focused on member relationships, service delivery and organizational performance. She previously held positions including vice president of operations and senior vice president of branch network and support services, according to the credit union.
Cal Coast said Luna brings more than 30 years of credit union industry experience and is known for her background in strategic leadership, member experience and operational transformation.
“Antonia is a proven leader whose deep operational expertise and unwavering commitment to our members make her exceptionally well-suited for this role,” President and CEO Todd Lane said in a statement.
Lane added that Luna has demonstrated an ability to drive innovation, enhance the member experience and lead high-performing teams throughout her time at the credit union.
Luna holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology from California State University, Fullerton and has completed executive leadership programs through CUES School of Applied Strategic Management and Western CUNA Management School. She also earned the Certified Credit Union Executive designation.
