SAN DIEGO–Cabrillo Credit Union celebrated International Credit Union Day, with food and fun.
In addition to serving food at the branches, members were greeted by Cabrillo employees wearing traditional clothing honoring their country’s heritage.
Cabrillo employees also celebrated with a potluck, featuring foods from their homeland.
From the Philippines, France, Guam, Portugal, Peru, Panama and more, Cabrillo is proud to have a diverse group of employees and members.
“Not only are we proud of our roots, but also what the credit union movement is still doing today. Credit unions were started for members, by members. Although many things have changed in the financial services sector, our credit union, and our industry, has never lost sight of our mantra…people helping people,” said Robin Lentz, Cabrillo Credit Union CEO.
