Cabrillo CU Raises $44K for Hospital

SAN DIEGO–Cabrillo Credit Union raised $44,000 during its annual month-long fundraising campaign, “May Means Business.”

“This substantial contribution to Rady Children’s Hospital San Diego demonstrates the unwavering commitment and support of its community,” the credit union said. “Credit unions across the nation joined hands as a unified force, collectively raising funds for their respective local Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. In San Diego, Cabrillo and its members, staff, and partners united to make a substantial impact on the lives of children in need.”

Cabrillo's fundraising efforts encompassed various initiatives, including their second interchange campaign where they pledged to donate a portion of funds every time its members utilized their debit and credit cards, resulting in an impressive contribution of $20,000 to the fundraiser

Moreover, Cabrillo Credit Union was also awarded a $5,000 grant from CO-OP Financial Services as part of their Miracle Match Program. This additional support further amplified the impact of Cabrillo's fundraising efforts, reflecting the organization's commitment to making a difference in the community.
