SAN DIEGO–During the month-long fundraising campaign known as the Miracle Month of May, Cabrillo Credit Union raised more than $41,600, to support Rady Children’s Hospital San Diego.
Cabrillo members and vendors generously donated and employees contributed by hosting department sponsored events to raise funds.
“We look forward to the Miracle Month of May every year,” said Jonathan Zide, Cabrillo’s COO. “Every department comes up with fun ways to raise money and it can get very competitive. Every department wants bragging rights as the top fundraiser.”
Cabrillo Credit Union received a $10,000 grant from CO-OP Financial Services through its Miracle Match Program.
“Cabrillo has been participating in the Miracle Month of May for over 2½ decades. We feel honored by the outpouring of support that we receive from our members, vendors and staff, to help support such a worthy cause.” said Zide.
