SAN DIEGO--Dan Kitchen has been named Cabrillo CU's Chief Lending Officer.
"Kitchen draws on his 20+ years of experience in the credit union industry to help Cabrillo Credit Union drive excellence and growth in all lending areas. Kitchen brings broad experience to this role including experience in consumer, mortgage and business lending and collections. His primary goal is to execute on the related lending functions in the credit union’s strategic plan. This includes growth in the real estate, auto and unsecured portfolios. Delivering an outstanding experience for members in these areas is paramount to the success of the credit union and its member-owners," the CU said.
Kitchen earned his BS in Business Administration from San Diego State University. He is a graduate of Western CUNA Management school and a member of the CUNA Lending Council.
Working directly with Dan is Mitch Linagen. Linagen has joined Cabrillo as Lending Manager.
"Linagen is a seasoned Financial Services Professional with 25+ years of lending, operations and project management experience, in both large and small, corporate Fortune 500 settings. He is an advocate for new concepts and creative alternatives to increase organizational efficiency and streamline operational and administrative processes. Linagen is responsible for managing the underwriting and disbursement of direct and indirect loans," the CU said.
