ORLANDO–A major landmark on the University of Central Florida campus will undergo a makeover this spring, as the CFE Arena changes its name to the Addition Financial Arena.
This change goes with the rebrand of Lake Mary-based CFE Federal Credit Union, which owns the naming rights to the CFE Arena. As CUToday.info reported earlier, on May 1 the credit union will change its name to Addition Financial. This name change is intended to help CFE expand throughout the region and make the credit union a more inclusive place to do business, the credit union said.
“We are pleased to continue our partnership with the University of Central Florida and the CFE Arena as we transition our name to Addition Financial. Under our new name, we will remain dedicated to our heritage in education, and will proudly serve the university in the years to come,” said Kevin Miller, CFE’s president and CEO.
Installation of new signage will begin as early as late March. The credit union will cover the cost of the new signage.
After the name changes, Addition Financial will continue to serve as the official financial institution of the UCF Knights.
