GOLDEN, Colo.–Credit Union of the Rockies has opened a pioneering new branch in downtown Golden that is says has embraced a truly “service-oriented” model for the new branch.

According to the credit union, members will experience the latest advances in technology, allowing for mobility and ease of use in a manner not found in most financial service institutions. The branch features the latest generation of Meraki wireless access for all employees and members, ensuring a secure, mobile and open environment. “Additionally, the branch is one of only four coinless financial institutions in the country,” the credit un ion said. “This allows members to bring in coin, but the branch no longer dispenses coin. Employees utilize new Surface Books and Surface Pros for ultimate mobility and the branch features an envelope-less ATM, check imaging and continued 24-hour online banking access.”

Mims added, “Ultimately, the new space provides a more personalized and casual delivery of services with a beverage station and lounging area to make members feel at home and unrushed. The idea is to spend more time comfortably talking with members to really learn how Credit Union of the Rockies can meet all their financial needs.”
