WICHITA, Kan.–Credit Union of America held its 12th annual golf tournament benefitting the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals at Via Christi Health at Crestview Country Club.
The Tournament is a joint effort between CUA and The Wichita Open, and the first official event of the Wichita Open each year. The 2018 CUA Tournament raised $55,930 that will benefit sick and injured children in Kansas. CUA and the Wichita Open have raised $502,070 for CMNH over the 12‐year life of the tournament.
“We are excited to contribute these funds for direct family benefit,” said Tosha Klein, CUA Tournament Lead. “We cannot do this without our golfers, generous sponsors, and our wonderful partners at The Wichita Open and Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals at Via Christi Health. This year we’re thankful for grants received from the Heartland Credit Union Charitable Foundation ($2,000) and the CO‐OP Miracle Match ($10,000). The $500,000 milestone was easily reached due to these additional funds.”
