IRVINE, Calif.--CU Direct has appointed Brian Hamilton as the president of CU Direct Connect, a subsidiary of CU Direct.
A 27-year veteran of the credit union and financial services industries, Hamilton joined CU Direct in 2017 as the vice president of innovation, where he has led the company’s research efforts on emerging trends and product innovation. Hamilton has been instrumental in establishing and executing key initiatives across all facets of consumer lending operations, including development of groundbreaking online applications, custom scorecards, loan origination systems, and next generation member experience.

Prior to joining CU Direct, Hamilton served as chief credit officer at BlueYield and senior vice president of lending at Placer Sierra Bancshares, as well as vice president of lending at SchoolsFirst, First Tech CU, and the Golden 1 Credit Union. Most recently, he was vice president of lending at UNIFY Financial. Hamilton holds a Bachelor of Science in management and an MBA in Digital Innovation and Information Systems from Pepperdine University.
