CHROME FCU Hires Five New Employees

WASHINGTON, Penn.—The $170 million CHROME Federal Credit Union recently hired five new employees, and three of them filled newly created positions.

Chief Financial Officer Patricia Morrissey was previously president/CEO of the $35 million Pittsburgh Central Federal Credit Union. Pittsburgh Central merged into CHROME effective Oct. 1. Morrissey began her credit union career as a principal examiner with the NCUA. She held this position for 10 years before leaving the agency to start a family. She first joined the Pittsburgh Central board in 2007 and served as secretary/treasurer for several years, assuming the president/CEO role in October of 2009. She has a Bachelor of Science degree from La Roche College.

Vice President/Chief Marketing Officer Julia Kramkova has an extensive background in digital marketing and social media. At CHROME, she will focus on financial education content and turn the credit union’s website, blog and social channels into an educational destination for customers and members of the community seeking financial advice. She joins the CHROME team from the healthcare industry, where she served in digital marketing roles for Gateway Health and UPMC. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Russian Studies, also from Carnegie Mellon. She was also a visiting scholar in economics and Russian studies at the University of London.

Digital Lending Specialist Donna Farah brings a strong background in retail and customer service experience to her newly created position. She previously spent the last nine years with National City/PNC Bank as a financial sales consultant. Donna’s personal and professional beliefs align perfectly with CHROME’s corporate culture, especially her belief that delivering a consistent experience is the key to exceptional customer service.

Digital Lending Specialist Jessica Reams analyzes cost saving solutions for CHROME customers and introduces new products and services that help manage their finances and their lives in her newly created position. She is in her final semester of graduate school to earn her MBA from California University of Pennsylvania. She also has a Bachelor’s degree in business from California University.

Executive Assistant Natalie Corso has worked in credit union marketing, member services and operations. At Pittsburgh Central Federal Credit Union, she grew credit union’s Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn audiences, implemented a staff training program and organized monthly sessions for all employees to grow their knowledge base and stay up to date with rules, regulations and policies. In her newly created position at CHROME, she supports the leadership team while collaborating with a variety of staff members on different projects. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Pennsylvania State University-Erie. She will apply her background in psychology to analyze customer satisfaction data and provide insight and recommendations on how to improve the customer experience.

“Each new employee is a great fit for CHROME’s culture and strategy,” President/CEO Christopher George said. “We are thrilled to welcome them to our growing credit union and look forward to supporting them as they serve our customers.”
