MARLBOROUGH, Mass. – The Cooperative Credit Union Association has announced the winners of the local 2020 National Social Responsibility Awards.
“We congratulate these credit unions for their outstanding contributions, achievements and service to their members and local communities,” said CCUA President/CEO Ron McLean.
The winners include:
- City of Boston Credit Union, The state-wide first place award winner in the asset category of $250-million - $1 billion for the Desjardins Adult Financial Education Award, Dora Maxwell Social Responsibility Community Service Award, and Louise Herring Philosophy in Action Member Service Award programs.
- Hanscom Federal Credit Union. The state-wide first place award winner in the asset category of $1 billion+ for the Desjardins Adult Financial Education Award and the Louise Herring Philosophy in Action Member Service Award programs. A second-place award for the Dora Maxwell Social Responsibility Community Service Award program.
- Holy Rosary Credit Union. The state-wide first place award winner in the asset category of $250-million - $1 billion for the Desjardins Youth Financial Education Award program.
- Metro Credit Union. The state-wide first place award in the asset category of $1 billion+ for the Dora Maxwell Social Responsibility Community Service Award program.
- Service Credit Union. The state-wide first place award winner in the asset category of $1 billion+ for the Desjardins Youth Financial Education Award and the Dora Maxwell Social Responsibility Community Service Award programs
