ALBANY, N.Y.– CAP COM Federal Credit Union has opened its 11th branch at 899 Western Avenue here. The 3,300-square-foot branch is conveniently located close to the State Office Campus and the University at Albany (SUNY).
"Brick and mortar is still a large part of CAP COM’s business, even as more members are using our digital and mobile platforms,” said President/CEO Paula Stopera.

The Western Ave branch will feature five private representative offices, two teller pods, a children’s play area, free coffee, a free coin machine for members, a photo copier, guest Wi-Fi, and a state-of-the-art ATM. The ATM will feature the latest technology and anti-skimming security along with 24/7 deposit automation of both cash and checks.
The credit union said the CAP COM team will be participating in local acts of kindness and community service during opening week, including surprise visits to CAP COM Cares Foundation partners, local nonprofits, neighboring businesses and schools.
