BUTTE, Mont.–Butte Community FCU has been approved by NCUA to expand its field of membership. The expansion allows the credit union to serve anyone who lives, works, worships, studies, and businesses in Silver Bow, Beaverhead, Madison, Deer Lodge, Powell, or Jefferson counties in Montana. The expansion increases the credit union’s potential field of membership by 81,361 potential members, more than tripling its current potential membership.
“We look forward to serving the people in these counties. Many of them live in areas with few options when it comes to financial service providers,” said Karen Mandic, president of Butte Community FCU. “We hope they’re excited about the advantages of being able to join our credit union.”
Butte Community FCU said it enlisted the help of CUCollaborate to expand the FOM.
