CHARLESTON, S.C.--Latitude 32 Credit Union is teaming up with Star 99.7 FM for their first-ever “Bras At The Branch” during Breast Cancer Awareness month in October. “With one in every eight women being diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime, we know that many of our members, staff, and the community are affected by this issue in some way,” said Brad Rustin, CEO of Latitude 32 Credit Union.
Women are invited to bring a decorated bra in honor or in memory of a loved one along with a $10 donation to the Latitude 32 Credit Union branch on Sam Rittenberg Blvd. All donations will go directly to Susan G. Komen Lowcountry.
People are also being invited to show their support on the Latitude 32 D’s team at the Susan G. Komen Lowcountry Race for the Cure 5K. The race will be held on Saturday, October 18th at Family Circle Stadium on Daniel Island. A $33 entry fee covers race registration, and a custom Latitude 32 D’s team race shirt is only an additional $7. Non-team members also have the option to purchase a team shirt for $20. Proceeds from the cost of the team t-shirt will go to Susan G. Komen Lowcountry in the form of a team donation.
