WOODBRIDGE, Va.--Belvoir Federal Credit Union continued its annual tradition and adopted two families this year to help spread holiday cheer to those less fortunate. Belvoir Federal employees donated $2,000 during the companywide, dress down weeks for the adopt-a-family program. With wish lists in hand, a group of employees used the donated funds to shop for the families and delivered their packages to the Fort Belvoir Chaplains Office at McNamara Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) and a military family living on Ft. Belvoir.
The generous donations made by credit union employees lead to the continuation of Belvoir Federal’s annual holiday tradition. Belvoir Federal’s gifts to these families and nine children consisted of clothes, shoes, undergarments, and toys for the holidays.
