CAPITOLA, Calif.--Bay Federal Credit Union has named Manny Escarcega assistant vice president/branch manager of its new Salinas Branch.
Escarcega has a strong background in sales, member service, and leadership, and will carry that experience forward as he oversees daily operations at the branch in downtown Salinas. The branch was formerly Coast-Tel Federal Credit Union before its recent merger into Bay Federal. Escarcega joined Bay Federal in 2005. He has excelled in a number of leadership roles in the organization, including serving as the assistant vice president/branch manager of both the River Street Branch in Santa Cruz and the Freedom Branch. In 2011, he was the recipient of the Service Excellence Award, Bay Federal’s most prestigious award for employees, the CU said.
