CAPITOLA, Calif.--Bay Federal Credit Union's Sam Solgan has received the Chartered SRI Counselor (CSRIC) designation.
This designation identifies Solgan--an LPL Financial Advisor--as a financial professional that has the background, knowledge, and situational awareness to help clients invest in sustainable, responsible, and impact investments (SRI).
Solgan has been at Investment Services at Bay Federal Credit Union since 2013 and has worked in the financial industry since 2009. He is an active member of the local community, working with the Cabrillo Host Lions chapter of Lions Club International.
“I was excited to earn my CSRIC designation in order to expand my existing investment skillset and to align my passion for helping the environment and various social causes,” Solgan said. “I’m grateful for the opportunity to educate our local community about their options, help them integrate their personal values and purpose into their investment portfolio strategy, and measure the impact of these investments over the long term. As Matatma Gandhi once said, ‘Be the change you wish to see in the world’.”
