COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.–AventaCares, a team of 40 walkers made up of Aventa CU employees and family members, took part in the Colorado Springs Heart Walk benefiting the American Heart Association.
AventaCares raised more than $2,500 for the American Heart Association. This is the fifth straight year that Aventa Credit Union associates have participated and raised money for the American Heart Association.
“We believe in the American Heart Association’s mission to help prevent heart disease and stroke. We are proud to take part of this yearly event and we were thrilled that with the help of Aventa Credit Union associates and its members, we were able to raise a record-setting $2,500 for the American Heart Association,” said Deb Brown, AventaCares committee member and Heart Walk team captain.
