HUNTSVILLE, Ala.–Avadian Credit Union held its official Ribbon Cutting at its new location here. Along with Avadian employees and board members, attendees at the event included Huntsville Chamber members and representatives from local media outlets.
The South Parkway branch marks the 18th location for the credit union in the state and the second Huntsville area location. The 15,000-square-foot branch sits next to Walmart and features a construction and commercial lending department, a mortgage lending department as well as access via a drive-thru and ATM. It was acquired on April 30 when Avadian purchased the former American Bank of Huntsville (ABH).
“We’re very excited about our new location. Since we acquired the branch in April, we’ve been busy welcoming new members that came to us through our acquisition of the Bank as well as serving over 3,500 of our existing Avadian members in the area. We are very happy to have this opportunity to expand our footprint in the Huntsville area and look forward to serving more people in the community," explains Avadian's President and CEO, Linda Cencula.
