BIRMINGHAM, Ala.–Avadian Credit Union turned its corporate office into a winter wonderland to surprise a local girl and her family with a trip to Disney World.
Sarah Grace, 6, was diagnosed with a rare hormonal disorder at birth. She has spent countless nights in the hospital and visits Children's of Alabama on a regular basis for medical testing and procedures. As a result of her illness, Sarah Grace is required to be homeschooled. Sarah Grace has dreamed of traveling to Disney World and that day is coming soon.
When Avadian learned she was going to get her dream trip to Disney World, they partnered with Magic Moments to throw a Christmas party at their corporate office to announce the exciting news. They invited Santa Claus along with Buddy the Elf to greet the family, while the Avadian staff sang holiday carols, prepared hot chocolate and showered them with snow.
"We were so excited and honored to present Sarah Grace with this moment. We hope this trip is a welcome diversion and an experience the entire family will never forget," said Eric Chambers, Events Coordinator with Avadian.
Avadian Credit Union said it has maintained a strong partnership with Magic Moments since 2014.
