BIRMINGHAM, Ala.–Avadian Credit Union's Mobile Branch threw a special party to surprise local four-year old boy, Jibri, with his magic moment.
Jibri struggles with Epilepsy, Cerebral Palsy and developmental delays. According to his mother, Carlecia, it all started Christmas Eve of 2012, when he experienced his first seizure. Since then, he has fought for his life and has beat the odds even when the doctors told them to prepare for the worst.
"Jibri fights every day to win his battle and that makes him a real-life superhero to me. In my book, he is my definition of courage, determination, strength, and perseverance," added Carlecia.
When Avadian learned Jibri was actually getting his dream trip to Disney World, they partnered with Magic Moments to throw a Disney-themed party at their Mobile branch, complete with Mickey Mouse cupcakes and toys.
"We were so excited and honored to present Jibri and his family with this moment. We hope this trip is a welcome diversion and an experience he'll never forget," said Mobile Branch Manager, Marsha Williams.
