Avadian Creates Day Fit for a Princess For Child

HOOVER, Ala.—Avadian Credit Union partnered with Magic Moments to pull out all the stops to surprise eight-year-old Emma Sennett with her magic moment. Emma was born with Russell-Silver Syndrome (RSS), a growth disorder characterized by slow growth before and after birth.

Affected children often fail to grow and gain weight at the expected rate and tend to have feeding difficulties, low blood sugar (hypoglycemia) and digestive system abnormalities. Emma travels frequently to Florida to meet with a specialist and has been in and out of Children's of Alabama for various procedures related to her condition.

The day fit for a princes started  with a Frozen princess makeover at Avadian's Hoover corporate office. From there, she and her family were taken via stretch limousine to a host of various locations where she was given clues leading to each spot. Along the way, she was greeted by Avadian employees ready to delight her with treats, tickets to that night's performance of Disney's Frozen on Ice at the Birmingham Jefferson Convention Complex and for her big moment - a family trip to Walt Disney World.

Separately, Avadian Credit Union has partnered with local universities to offer students real-life experience in the financial industry.
