BIRMINGHAM, Ala.–Avadian Credit Union announces the hiring of Lon Varns as their new Card Services Manager.
Varns comes to Avadian with over 11 years of experience in the financial services industry. He was most recently employed at BBVA Compass as VP Commercial Credit Card Implementation Team Manager.
As Card Services Manager, Varns will be in charge of all credit card and debit card initiatives for the Credit Union, including security features, card distribution, fraud alerts and program enhancements. When asked about his new role, Varns states, "I am excited about the opportunity to work more on the retail side of the card portfolio. I look forward to implementing Avadian's member-first approach as we continue to build and strengthen our card programs."
