HOMEWOOD, Ala.–Avadian Credit Union held its official ribbon cutting at it new location here. Along with Avadian employees and board members, attendees at the event included Homewood Chamber members.
The new Homewood branch is located at 475 Green Springs Highway next door to The Purple Onion. Avadian purchased the former Regions Bank branch location, after learning its location inside the Buffalo Rock office building at 103 Oxmoor Road was going to be torn down to make room for Buffalo Rock's growing fleet of trucks.
The new branch is easily accessible and features an ATM and drive-thru for added convenience. It also offers a limited selection of safe deposit boxes for members to rent.
"We enjoyed our former location and thank Buffalo Rock for partnering with us over the past 18 years. We look forward to continuing to serve our current members at our new location as well as reach out to new potential members," said Bonnie Robertson, Homewood Branch Manager for Avadian.
