SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine–Atlantic FCU has made a $50,000 donation to the Good Shepherd Food Bank to support its efforts during the coronavirus health crisis.
The food bank anticipates a significant surge in demand.
“Our staff and board are indredibly passionate about the Campaign to End Hunger in Maine,” said CEO Scott Chretien. “When we were made aware of the critical need from the Good Shepherd Food Bank, we felt compelled to act and provide support. During this current health crisis many are challenged and need support. We know that in the communities we serve in Androscoggin, Cumberland, Sagadahoc and York there are many who are relying on the services of the Good Shepherd Food Bank. As a credit union we want to help people do better.”
