TULLAHOMA, Tenn.– Ascend Federal Credit Union has been recognized as Best Credit Union and Best Bank in the 2020 Rutherford County Main Street Awards sponsored by the Murfreesboro Post. This is the seventh year in a row Ascend has won Best Credit Union category and the first time it has won Best Bank.

I’m extremely proud of our team.”Winners are selected by Murfreesboro Post readers, who cast more than 100,000 votes this year for their favorite local businesses, breaking all previous voting records. This was the seventh year the Murfreesboro Post has held the awards.The awards ceremony was held live on the Murfreesboro Post’s Facebook page. The ceremony is traditionally held in person, but was moved online due to COVID-19.
