TULLAHOMA, Tenn. – Ascend Federal Credit Union has appointed David Elrod to its board of directors.
Ascend also announced the appointment of Joshua Johns as a member of the company’s supervisory committee and Janet McDonald, Ray Guzman and Steve May as new associate board members. “We are honored that David has agreed to be on our board of directors and offer his extensive experience as we expand our presence in Middle Tennessee and beyond,” said Ascend President and CEO Caren Gabriel. “We are also fortunate to have Joshua, Janet, Ray and Steve as part of the board team and look forward to their contributions as we collectively work to fulfill Ascend’s mission of enhancing our members’ lives with superior products delivered with service excellence.”
Elrod, who has nearly four decades of engineering and leadership experience, currently serves as dean of the Raymond B. Jones College of Engineering at Lipscomb University in Nashville. Before that, he was vice president of business development and a technical fellow at Jacobs Technology.
