TULLAHOMA, Tenn.—Ascend Credit Union has been named Best Credit Union in the 2023 Rutherford County Main Street Awards sponsored by the Murfreesboro Post.
This is the eighth year in a row Ascend has won the Best Credit Union category. Ascend was also one of three finalists for the Best Bank and Best Mortgage categories.
“It is truly humbling to be named the best credit union by Murfreesboro Post’s readers for eight consecutive years,” said Ascend President and CEO Matt Jernigan. “Ascend has six branches and a regional operations center in Rutherford County, and this award is a testament to our team's dedication, passion and exemplary service to our members in the community.”
Winners were selected by Murfreesboro Post readers, who cast more than 102,000 votes for their favorite local businesses. This was the eighth year the Murfreesboro Post held the awards for Rutherford County.
