SUITLAND, Md. – Andrews Federal Credit Union continues to support children’s hospitals and wellbeing through its support of the Credit Union Cherry Blossom Run.
This annual race highlights the iconic beauty of Washington D.C. and the credit union's commitment to “people helping people” through its support of hospitals in the Children’s Miracle Network. Since 1991, credit unions have raised more than $200 million to support CMN.
Andrews Federal committed both resources and time to support the race. The credit union continued its substantial financial support and had employees on the race site, both as volunteers along the 5K and 10K courses, and as race participants.
The Cherry Blossom Run remains a meaningful event to the credit union team because it is an opportunity for employees to come together in support of a worthy cause. “Andrews Federal has been a long-standing supporter of the Cherry Blossom Run and Children’s Miracle Network,” said Ken Orgeron, President and CEO of Andrews Federal Credit Union. “Our employees showed that they were once again ready to serve by contributing their time and volunteer efforts to give back to our DC community and to children and families facing challenges.”
