BREA, Calif.–American First Credit Union (AFCU) awarded Lynette P. from Orange, Calif. its quarterly prize of $10,000 as part of its Big Prize Savings program.
Lynette P. joins a list of lucky savers as the sixth recipient of the $10,000 quarterly prize since the program launched in February 2019. When asked how she felt after learning she won, Lynette responded, “I said to my husband, ‘Maybe our luck is changing’ and it did. This is amazing, just amazing.”
At the end of each month, Big Prize Savings account holders who maintain an average daily savings balance of $500 or more for that month receive one entry for every $25 saved. Account-holders have a greater chance of winning prizes when they save more.
Big Prize Savings is a prized-linked savings program the credit union said awards some of the most lucrative prizes in the state.
“Congratulations Lynette and thank you for being a member of the credit union,” said Jon Shigematsu, CEO and president of American First Credit Union. “We care about savers and this is a sign of our appreciation for you and all the people who save their money with us.”
