EAST HARTFORD, Conn.–Employees of American Eagle Financial Credit Union (AEFCU) recently raised and donated $5,220 to the Credit Union Legislative Action Council (CULAC) through its “Jeans Friday” fundraising program.
Each pay period participating American Eagle employees donate a portion of their paycheck for the right to wear jeans on Fridays, with the goal of distributing portions of the collective fund to charities, foundations and organizations that AEFCU supports. The latest donation will bolster CULAC’s efforts in advocating for laws and legislation that advance the future of the credit union industry and its members, the credit union said.
