JACKSON, Mich.–Three people have been elected to three-year terms on the board of American 1 Credit Union. Re-elected was Ira Combs, while new members Julie Alexander and Frank Weathers are also joining the board.
Alexander is currently serving her third term on the Jackson County Board of Commissioners. She also serves on several committees and boards including as the past chair of Cradle to Career (C2C), and the SCMW! Consortium Board and Land Bank Authority.
Weathers has extensive experience with credit unions, serving on the board of directors for a Detroit-area credit union for 20 years. Now retired, Weathers most recently served as the Ombudsman for the City of Jackson for six years, and was an External Affairs Director for AT&T for 30 years.
