America's First CU Star in USU Ladies Football Clinic

RIVERDALE, Utah–Supporting the community and gearing up for the college football season, America First Credit Union said its employees participated in the 11th annual Utah State University (USU) Ladies Football Clinic on Merlin Olsen Field at Maverik Stadium.

Hosted by Aggie football coaching staff and sponsored by America First, the clinic gives women the opportunity to participate in football drills and informative lessons on technique, plays and fundamentals. This year, the ever-popular clinic featured 150 participants and all proceeds were donated to the Intermountain Foundation at Logan Regional Hospital.

Attendees were split into three groups and rotated between on-field fast offensive drills, strong defensive drills and a special facilities tour. Quarterbacks, linebackers, running backs and wide receivers created specific drills to demonstrate their positions, giving women a glimpse into the strategy and physicality of the team.

Along with a tour of the ICON Sports Performance Center and the team’s locker rooms, a unique viewing of footage in the film room offered participants the knowledge behind individual plays.
