GLENDORA, Calif.—America’s Christian Credit Union, in partnership with Project Glendora Yellow Ribbon, will be hosted the 2nd annual Patriot Week during the week of May 18-22, in celebration of military heroes and first responders. Patriot Week kicked off at ACCU’s headquarters here with Opening Ceremonies that included city officials, military groups and community members as they dedicated the week to celebrating and expressing gratitude for local heroes. ACCU also hosted a Veterans Resource Fair and a Family Day Celebration.
Patriot Week also featured a patriotic essay writing competition among local grade-school children, and a bake-off where donated baked goods were delivered to Glendora’s first responders by local Girl Scouts.
America’s Christian Credit Union will be donating $10 to Vet Hunters – a local non-profit providing services to homeless veterans and family members -- for every new account opened in the Glendora branch during Patriot Week.
