America First Staff Participate in Ladies Football Clinic

PAYSON, Utah–America First Credit Union employees participated in the ninth annual Utah State University (USU) Ladies Football Clinic at Merlin Olsen Field at Maverik Stadium. The clinic, sponsored by America First, was designed to teach football skills, techniques and the ins-and-outs of the game. Participants also had the opportunity to meet the Aggie football coaching staff and select players, who signed autographs and posed for pictures. The popular clinic featured more than 180 participants.

Attendees of the clinic learned about nutrition, football scheme, techniques and fundamentals taught by the USU players and coaches. The group broke into various groups, running through drills for every position on the field, from throwing passes at the quarterback station to hopping over tackling dummies and charging to make a tackle at the linebacker station. Participants also had the opportunity to suit up in full gear and USU football uniforms.
