America First Cuts Ribbon on Branch

HEBER CITY, Utah –– America First Credit Union celebrated the grand opening of its newest branch here with a ribbon-cutting celebration. The new branch is a stand-alone branch replacing the Heber City’s Lee’s Marketplace branch that closed on Sept. 14.

The 3,200-square-foot building includes multiple teller stations, four drive-up stations, remote expert station and 24-hour drive-up ATM. A complete suite of financial services, such as membership enrollment, mortgages, notarization, deposits, withdrawals and loans, are available to members.

Justin Goodrich will serve as the branch manager for the Heber City branch and has a long history of service excellence receiving multiple credit union awards for his member assistance. Goodrich is very active in the Heber City community serving on the Heber Valley Chamber of Commerce Advisory Board for four years and has served on many subcommittees. As manager of the not-for-profit cooperative institution, he embodies the credit union’s value of people helping people.

“My dad is a retired banker,” said Goodrich. “When I started working at the credit union 17 years ago, he encouraged me to switch to a bank. Despite his efforts, I’ve come to love the credit union movement. The thing I love most about my job is that I can save people either time, money, or both. I’m proud to say that since my dad retired from banking, he has become a credit union member.”
