OGDEN, Utah–Completing 2015 with a final Greater Good project, America First Credit Uion’s Operation Services Division rallied together to bring a smile to the faces of children at Primary Children’s Hospital with the donation of coloring books and crayons/colored pencils. Inside each coloring book, the employees inscribed words of encouragement, along with drawings, in hopes of putting a smile on the children’s faces. Along with the coloring books, America First employees purchased items included on the Primary Children’s Hospital wish list, filling two large boxes with toys, card games and other items requested by the hospital.
In keeping with the credit union philosophy of people helping people, The Greater Good program offers a planned, managed framework with the goal of motivating and enabling employees to effectively volunteer under the leadership of America First. Quarterly activities are focused on specific areas of need and benefit a nonprofit organization, school, or municipality.
