Altura CU Helps Sponsor M*A*S*H* Bash

RIVERSIDE, Calif.– Altura Credit Union recently helped celebrate the 75th anniversary of Bob Hope and the USO at the 32nd Annual M*A*S*H* Bash, a fundraising event for the March Air Field Museum. It was in 1941 that Bob Hope performed his first USO show at March Field in Riverside County, which is now March Air Reserve Base.

Altura was a sponsor of M*A*S*H* Bash, the museum’s largest annual fundraiser. Held at the Air Museum among its exhibits, the event featured a Bob Hope impersonator and a recreated USO show. Guests are asked to come dressed as their favorite character from television’s M*A*S*H*.

March Field Air Museum, opened in 1979, is a nonprofit educational institution that explores March Field’s pivotal role in the development of flight. It boasts one of the largest collections of military aircraft on the West Coast.

In addition to sponsoring the event, a group of Altura employees also volunteered to help make the evening a success.
